The sacrifice of our military men and women is amazing. But the sacrifice of their families is as great and often overlooked. Michael was home on leave and got to meet his newborn baby daughter, Kennedy, over Christmas. I cannot imagine being a father and not able to be there for the delivery. I cannot imaging being a mother, giving birth, without my husband there to support me.
The debt of gratitude we owe these people can never be adequately repaid. I pray God blesses, protects and supports all who serve and all who wait.
